Money is no option when NBA player Stephen “Steph” Curry and his TV personality wife, Ayesha, are purchasing a vacation home.
Curry, who has played professional basketball since 2009 for the Golden State Warriors, is considered the greatest shooter in NBA history and, overall, one of the greatest ball players of all time. Curry is an eight-time NBA All-Star and All-NBA selection. He has been named NBA Most Valuable Player and won four NBA Championships, an NBA Finals MVP Award, and an All-Star Game MVP. He is currently the highest-paid player in the NBA, and his earnings are expected to reach $400 million. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Curry’s current net worth is $150 million.
Curry’s wife, Ayesha, is a television personality and entrepreneur. Her show, Ayesha’s Home Kitchen, is featured on the Food Network. She has published two cookbooks, The Seasoned Life and The Full Plate, while also selling various lifestyle products such as bedding and cookware. Ayesha also co-owns four International Smoke restaurants, and since 2017, she has been a CoverGirl ambassador. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Ayesha is worth $10 million.
After Curry captured his fourth NBA Championship with the Golden State Warriors and became MVP for 2022, the couple added a Florida vacation home to their real estate portfolio, which includes a mansion in Silicon Valley’s Atherton.
According to Dirt.com, the couple paid $2.1 million for their Winter Park, Fla. home after participating in a fierce bidding war. The Curry’s won–paying $400,000 more than the original listing price, according to Orlando Weekly.
The two-story stucco and stone home is 4200 square feet and sits on a little more than a quarter-acre parcel of land. The home features four bedrooms and five bathrooms on the main level. There’s a master retreat that includes a relaxing, fireside sitting area, a bathroom featuring a zero entry shower and soaking tub, as well as a walk-in closet. Another master ensuite boasts a living room area, wet bar, and a private entrance. Two attached garages are present and will hold three cars.
Ayesha will enjoy time in the gourmet kitchen with an eat-in island, a breakfast nook, and Thermador appliances. The breakfast nook easily connects to the family rooms, which include sliding glass doors. A private office space sits on the side of the foyer with windows overlooking the front and side courtyard.
The upstairs level of the house includes a wet bar and half-bath.
Although the home does not have a pool, there is an expansive law protected by fencing. A brick terrace is present for outdoor entertainment.
