Football season is upon us, as it kicked off on September 8. And celebs have wasted no time flossing in the converted stadium suites. Count former boxing champ Mike Tyson among them.
Tyson was recently spotted with billionaire Robert Kraft, owner of the NFL team the New England Patriots, as New England kicked off its 2022 season on Sept. 11. Tyson was seated in Kraft’s suite at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Although the Pats lost to the division rival Miami Dolphins 20-7, it was still “suite” life for Tyson.
The suite experience can be had for anyone with $5,000-$30,000 to spend per game, according to Suite Experience Group. And the price goes up for special games, such as opening day and the Super Bowl. The average price for a private Super Bowl suite is about $430,000, but they range anywhere from $175,000 to $700,000 depending on the number of tickets sold among other things, according to online ticket marketplace TickPick. Individual tickets for a premium seat in a shared suite went for $17,500 each for Super Bowl LV in 2021.
Get Your Own Suite for a Day
You don’t have to own a suite, you can rent one from a company such as Suite Experience Group (SEG) or SoFi Stadium Suites.
Not all suites are the same. Suites in major cities with “robust economies like Nashville, Houston, and New York will be more expensive than suites in cities like Detroit, Baltimore, or Cleveland. That’s because suite sales are geared towards corporations, and the latter cities don’t have as much of a corporate presence,” SEG reported. Also expect to pay more in high-profile celeb cities like Miami and Los Angeles.
Expensive or Affordable
The most expensive private and luxury suites in the NFL can be found at Gillette Stadium (New England Patriots), CenturyLink Field (Seattle Seahawks), and Hard Rock Stadium (Miami Dolphins), according to SEG.
More affordable NFL suites are at FirstEnergy Stadium (Cleveland Browns), New Era Field (Buffalo Bills), and Ford Field (Detroit Lions).
Most stadiums offer private luxury suites for a small group of 10 to 20 people.
