North West, the daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, might only be nine years old, but she is ready to become an entrepreneur by launching two business ventures: skin-care and toy lines.
West is a social media personality and the oldest child of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Her life has been featured prominently on the reality show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” Entrepreneur and influencer Kardashian has a net worth of $1.2 billion. Music producer, artist and entrepreneur Kanye West has a net worth of $398 million.
Although her parents are divorced, they have established many ways of building and sustaining her personal wealth. When West turned seven, her parents established a trust fund with a starting balance of $5 million. According to Celebrity Net Worth, the funds will have matured to $10 million by West’s 21st birthday.
Four Distinct Trademarks
Kardashian often has discussed supporting her children’s entrepreneurial endeavors. In 2022, Kardashian filed at least 12 trademark filings for her son Psalm. The filings were similar to the products trademarked for his older sister and also include clothing, furniture, jewelry and vitamins.
Earlier in March, Kardashian applied for four trademarks in the name of North West.
The first trademark filing was for “non-medicated skin preparations, moisturizers, lotions, creams and cleansers.” Also included are “skin serums, facial oils, body oils, bath and shower gels, bubble bath, body powders, cosmetics, fragrances, hair care preparations.”
A trademark in the toy industry also was filed for the following: “toy figures, doll accessories, dolls, drawing toys, infant toys, mechanical action toys, play sets for action figures, soft sculpture toys, bath toys.” In conjunction, there may also be, according to the filings, “children’s educational toys for developing fine motor and cognitive skills, musical toys, toy food, toy cookware, baby gyms, playground balls, and sport balls.”
A third trademark is related to advertising services while the final trademark filing includes “entertainment in the nature of providing information in means of a global computer network in the fields of entertainment and pop culture.”
Kardashian reportedly will oversee West’s business ventures as her mother and manager, also known as a title of “momager.”
