Kanye West’s car collection is just as eclectic as his music and fashion stylings. The music producer and entrepreneur reportedly owns nine luxury vehicles, with the collection valued between $7 million and $10 million.
West began his hip-hop career as a producer working with artists such as Ludacris, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Jay-Z, Janet Jackson and Beyoncé. Yet his big break came in 2004 with his debut album, “College Dropout.” West was nominated for 10 Grammy Awards and the album was certified triple platinum. Since then, he has released 10 albums and continues to work as a music producer.
In addition to West’s passion for music, he has partnered with several fashion brands such as Adidas and Gap. However, in 2022, these partnerships ended. His lucrative and longstanding deal with Adidas was cut short by the retail giant over anti-Semitic remarks made by West in Fall 2022. West, who reportedly has a net worth of $500 million, ended his Gap deal shortly before his Adidas deal came to a close.
Here’s a look at West’s expensive car collection:
2019 Lamborghini Urus
The Lamborghini Urus is an SUV that is roomy and powerful. West purchased the vehicle for his office in Los Angeles and even designed his wheels. The interior features faux leather and a state-of-the-art entertainment center. This Lamborghini is worth $200,000.
2012 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder
Judging from how often he’s been seen driving it, West seems to favor his white matte LP550-2 trim Lamborghini. The vehicle is a first-generation Gallardo possessing a dash-2 rear-wheel drive system, reportedly allowing the car to make sharp turns easily in harsh weather conditions. And that’s not all: The vehicle can reach 60 mph in a mere 3.8 seconds. This car is valued at $225,000.
2011 Aston Martin DBS
Equipped with 12 cylinders and a 5.9-liter V-12 engine, the Aston Martin DBS can reach 60 miles in four seconds.
2004 Maybach 57
When West shot the music video for “Otis” with fellow hip-hop artist Jay-Z, he is said to have fallen in love with a 2004 Maybach 57 that was included in a scene. As a result, he reportedly purchased the vehicle. The car’s interior uses premium cushioning, making passengers believe that they are on an airplane. The car is valued at $315,000.
2012 Lamborghini Aventador
West knows how to buy himself a birthday gift. For his 35th birthday, West purchased a 2012 Lamborghini Aventador for $387,000. Considered a top-tier model in the Aventador series, the seats can be heated, cooled or ventilated to keep passengers supported. The Lamborghini Aventador can reach 60 mph in 28 seconds with a top speed of 220 mph.
2006 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren
Valued at $450,000, the Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren is the result of a collaboration between Mercedes and British luxury automotive manufacturer McLaren Automotive. West is said to have chosen to purchase this car because it is a limited series. In addition, it can reach 60 MPH in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 203 mph.
2009 Mercedes-Benz SLR Sterling Moss
Looking at his auto collection, West seems to enjoy owning rare cars. Mercedes only made 75 cars of the Sterling Moss model, and it reportedly cost West $1.07 million. In addition to its value being greater than the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, it is much faster – with the ability to complete 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph.
2010 Prombron Red Diamond
The Prombron Red Diamond is an armored car valued at $1.2 million. West’s Prombron with a red paint finish and carbon detailing is able to reach a top speed of 124 mph.
2008 Bugatti Veyron
The Bugatti Veyron is a special limited-edition sports car. With FBG Hermès trim, the interior includes heated seats and safety tools to ensure a safe ride. The vehicle is valued at $1.5 million.
Big Trucks
Remember the Super Bowl commercial in which West drove up to a McDonald’s drive-through window in a massive Sherp PRO ATV? Three years ago, he apparently owned about eight Ukrainian-built ATV tanks that can cover any terrain. He even gifted one to fellow rapper 2Chainz.
The vehicles run about $120,000, according to Business Insider. He kept them along with several Ford Raptor pickup trucks and a high-performance tank on his ranch in Wyoming. But since he put the ranch up for sale in 2021, there is no confirmation that he still owns the ATVs.
