Italy
The Mediterranean is one of the most beautiful regions in Europe, consisting of countries rich in history and beautiful beaches like Spain, Greece, Italy, Portugal and France.
One of the couple’s favorite destinations is Italy. Based on Beyoncé’s social media, they seem to take their family to the country a lot. Photographs of their trips include them enjoying cultural sites like museums, munching on local cuisine and almost always in the top fashions. The parents of three children, Blue Ivy, 11, and twins Rumi and Sir, 5 have taught their offspring one lesson early: la vita è bella.
France
Another place in the Mediterranean the couple loves to visit is France. Dating back to before the couple was married, the two could be seen vacationing on the beaches of Saint-Tropez, France or strolling through art galleries shopping.
In 2021, while most of the world was still nervous about the deadly COVID-19 virus, the Knowles-Carter clan chartered an ultra-luxurious yacht called the Flying Fox to celebrate Beyoncé’s 40th birthday.
The Flying Fox is no ordinary vessel. It is a palatial yacht that cost Lürssen a reported $400 to $500 million just to build. According to Forbes, the 450-foot-long and 67-foot-wide mega-yacht was leased from Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, the richest man in the world with an estimated net worth of $177 billion, for approximately $4 million a week.
The couple chartered the yacht and hosted family, friends and their huge staff (including nannies and assistants) during this particular trip across the Mediterranean Sea.
The family also has vacationed on billionaire Shahid Khan’s mega yacht while traveling down the Amalfi Coast after the On the Run II tour, as reported by Vogue magazine.
Other vacation destinations the Grammy-winning family loves to visit in the Mediterranean are countries like Monaco and the island of Corsica.
Vacationing with these two rock stars looks like it costs a pretty penny. However, one of the richest couples in the music business (Jay-Z is worth an estimated $2 billion and Beyoncé is worth about $500 million), makes sure to spare no costs for experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.
Croatia
Another expensive trip the couple decided to take for vacation was a visit to Croatia in 2020.
This trip, like many others, was one for celebrating Beyoncé’s birthday.
For the vacation, the two chartered for $2 million per week a 350-foot, eight-suite, high-end Benetti yacht. The boat was so massive, it had a spa, a 27-foot heated pool and a dining area that seats 12 people, according to Showbiz CheatSheet.
Brazil
Europe is not the only travel destination where the couple likes to vacation. They have been frequently spotted in Brazil, the largest country in South America.
Rich with African culture, Brazil is one of the couple’s favorite places to go, according to PopSugar. The outlet swiped several snaps taken in 2013 from Beyoncé’s Instagram. One flick shows her immersed in the local community with children playing music around her, while another shows her dripped in the heart-shaped replica of the nation’s flag.
Hawaii
While the two love to go overseas, there are domestic destinations that the couple loves to make its way to to blow off steam.
It seems that this family loves the island state — having visited it frequently over the last decade. In fact, after the first leg of the lucrative Formation Tour, which in total grossed over $256 million from 49 sold-out shows, they chartered a private jet to kick it on some of the most beautiful beaches in the United States.

The A-listers have been spotted in Thailand, Caribbean Islands such as Cuba and the Dominican Republic and in Africa, always living their best lives. But they do spend some of their wealth on America’s mainland.
One time in particular, according to reports, when the couple dipped off to Philadelphia, they stayed in the two-story penthouse at Hotel Le Meurice. While they did not spend millions for their stay, the two still spent a pretty penny.
It reportedly cost them $20,000 per night to rent the space.
