The Snoop Passport Series

“With the Passport Series, I can give my fans the opportunity to travel the world with me — no one’s ever done that,” Snoop Dogg said in a statement provided to Variety. “I’ve always been a pioneer, and digital merch is part of the future. I’m hoping other artists can see what I’m doing and continue to innovate on their own.”
The Snoop Dogg Passport Series will provide fans with behind-the-scenes content through video and images of his tour. Priced at $45 or .025 ETH, video and images of Snoop and his team will be accessible to fans. Purchasers of the Passport NFT will also receive access to future Snoop Dogg NFT drops and music playlists.
In addition, a curated collection by NFT artists will also be included. These works are known as Snoop Selects and will be available to all Passport holders. Artists within the collection include Coldie, Terrell Jones and Alien Queen.
The Making of the Passport NFT
The Snoop Dogg Passport Series was developed out of a partnership with Denver-based Transient Labs. The project was coordinated by talent agency WME, in which Transient Labs and Snoop Dogg are both clients.
“Having the opportunity to connect one of the world’s greatest artists to fans in such a creative and engaging way is a great representation of what we’re all about at Transient Labs,” Chris Ostoich, chief operating officer at Transient Labs told Variety.
Snoop Dogg signed with WME in 2022 with the hopes of expanding his entrepreneurial endeavors in the entertainment industry. Snoop Dogg, who has been a fixture in popular culture since the early 1990s has a net worth of $150 million. He currently has business partnerships and interests in entertainment, fashion, cannabis, Web3, esports, food and tech industries.
“WME is the only place that can handle the career I’ve built and grow it even further,” Snoop said in a statement. “I look forward to gettin’ it with the WME team to continue innovating across music, film, TV, business, and digital and break barriers across entertainment.”
