Retired NBA player Tony Parker recently placed his Texas mansion up for sale for a reported $16.5 million.
Parker, who has a reported net worth of $85 million, began his professional basketball career with the LNB Pro A, a French league. He was named Pro A Best Young Player and LNB Pro A Most Improved Player 2001. In 2001, he came to the United States to play with the San Antonio Spurs. Parker played with the team for 17 seasons, winning four NBA championships and was named NBA Finals Most Valuable Player in 2007.
Now that Parker is retired, it seems he is ready to downsize from the home he had custom built in 2009 when he was still married to actress Eva Longoria. For a short time period, the residence was being offered privately but Parker was not ready to sell.
Located in Boerne, Texas, a suburb of San Antonio, Parker’s estate is part of the Anaqua Spring Ranch, a luxury gated community that includes 150 homes.
Inside Parker’s Estate
The 53-acre residence sits behind a wrought iron gate with a large gold “P” added to its center. A tall fence runs along the side of the residence for added protection. However, it isn’t the gates and fencing that will pique the interest of potential buyers–it’s the amenities included in the estate.
A barrel tile clay roof and stone columns add to the stately appearance of the mansion. AA water fountain and circular motor court are at the home’s entrance.
