Kevin Hart has set his sights on a monumental milestone: becoming a billionaire by a specific age–45.
At just 44 years old, Hart has already amassed a staggering fortune through his multifaceted career in comedy, acting, and business ventures. However, he’s not content with resting on his laurels. Instead, he’s embarked on a quest to achieve the elusive billionaire status by a predetermined date – his 45th birthday on July 6, 2024.
Hart and His Billionaire Dreams
In a “CBS Mornings” interview in 2021, Hart proclaimed his goal. For him, it’s not merely about accumulating wealth for its own sake but about the symbolism and inspiration it represents, particularly for aspiring entrepreneurs, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds. Hart hails from humble beginnings, and he views his journey to billionaire status as a beacon of hope for young people facing similar challenges.
“It’s not about the money,” Hart stressed during the interview. “It’s about the title of a billionaire. What does that mean, how did you get there? What was your road to getting there? The point is about the other Black kids that are from where I’m from, from the inner cities, the places that are told that so much is impossible.”
For Hart, the pursuit of billionaire status transcends personal gain.
Despite his already considerable wealth, estimated at around $450 million, Hart remains undeterred in his quest for billionaire status.
The next few months will undoubtedly be pivotal for Hart as he races against the clock to bridge the gap between his current net worth and the coveted billion-dollar mark.
Hart has three highest-grossing stand-up specials of all time. His films have grossed more than $4 billion combined, WRAL reported. He has a venture capital firm that’s involved in consumer products ranging from beds to energy drinks to cleaning supplies. He owns a chain of vegan fast food restaurants across Los Angeles.
He has a personal protein drink brand, VitaHustle; a supplement line; a tequila label that’s partnered with the Philadelphia Eagles and, of course, a multi-platform media production company, HartBeat Productions.
In 2022, Abry Partners, a private equity firm, injected $100 million into HartBeat Productions. This investment came when HartBeat Productions was valued at $650 million, Investopedia reported.
Hart’s premium tequila brand, Gran Coramino, sells tequilas ranging from $50 to $100 per bottle.
“The point is about the other Black kids that are from where I’m from, from the inner cities, the places that are told that so much is impossible. Well, you can see it is possible. You can have a real eye-sight of someone that did it, that can talk to you in a way that you understand and you know,” Hart told Gayle King in the interview.
Will he hit the billionaire mark in a mere few months? Doubtful, but Hart can still dream — and work hard.
As Hart himself succinctly puts it in his Twitter bio, “My name is Kevin Hart and I WORK HARD!!! That pretty much sums me up!!! Everybody Wants To Be Famous But Nobody Wants To Do The Work.”
