Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders’ eldest daughter, Deiondra, 31, is expecting her first child with her partner, music artist Jacquees (born Rodriquez Jacquees Broadnax).
While Deion admits he “hasn’t digested” becoming a grandfather yet, he wants to ensure that Deiondra is emotionally and psychologically prepared for motherhood.
Trust Fund Baby?
In a video, the soon-to-be grandpa joked that his daughter will have to earn her trust fund, saying, “Deiondra came, and I can tell it’s going to be a long heck of a pregnancy, ‘cause she milked that thing. She had people bring a chair and all that. Like she getting ready to milk this pregnancy.”
Posted on his Well Off Media YouTube channel, on March 17, Coach Prime featured a video of himself on the way to a book signing to promote his book, “Elevate and Dominate: 21 Ways to Win On and Off the Field.” In the video, which Sanders shot at an Atlanta airport after leaving Barnes and Noble Cumberland on March 15 on his was to Dallas, he gave his thoughts about his daughter’s pregnancy and her financial future.
While it is not known how much money Deion is prepared to leave his children, he does indicate that he has a categorical list of his favorite children.
Deion’s Favorite Children
According to ESPN’s Instagram post published on Sept. 13, Deion had a ranking for his five children. It was as follows: 1. Deion Jr., 2. Shelomi (daughter), 3. Shedeur, 4. Deiondra, and 5. Shilo.
According to Sports Illustrated, the most recent update from November 2023 shows Deion changing up the rankings again, with Shilo now at the top after previously being last: 1. Shilo, 2. Deion Jr., 3. Shedeur, 4. Shelomi, and 5. Deiondra.
Deiondra might be last in her father’s good graces, but according to her LinkedIn she works as the director of communications for Sc3 Sports Management. She has also appeared on reality TV and has dabbled in multiple sectors, including fashion, entertainment, and charitable work.
