Cardi B: Divorce, Rumors, and Pregnancy

The “Up” emcee clarified that the claim, originally posted on social media by Icy Scoop News and since deleted, was false. The gossip suggested the hip-hop couple was struggling with payments, but Cardi B, whose X handle is “Mrs. Dangerous,” strongly disputed this.

“LMAOOO You bum btches wish,” she tweeted about the post. She added, “Me and Offset bought that house in 2019 for $5 million now it’s worth $7” and advised the detractors to “check the Atlanta market.”

She continued, “And no, we not selling it. And if I ever sold it I would just sell my part to Offset since he loves Atlanta. Throwing salt on my home? Hating bad.”

Afterward, the star had to stunt on her haters from her other abode.

Real estate is something that Cardi B really has gotten into over the last decade. She owns several properties, including homes in Buckhead, New Jersey, New York, and the Dominican Republic. She and Offset bought the Georgia home together in 2019, where they live with their two children, Kulture and Wave.

When the couple purchased the Atlanta home, Cardi B, worth $80 million, shared her excitement, saying, “WE GOT OUR HOUSE!!!!!”

The 22,000-square-foot estate in Atlanta’s Buckhead district features three stories, a six-car garage, a pool, and more, according to The CE shop.

The property was initially listed for $5.8 million, but Cardi’s tweet reveals they secured it for $5 million and increased its value significantly within five years.

The couple has ventured into property management, but in 2023, Cardi admitted their landlord journey has been challenging.

“We have tenants that haven’t even paid f—king rent for like 9 months,” she shared during an Instagram Live session. “And sometimes, we be so busy and our house managers, they’ll be so busy that we like, you know what? Don’t even f—king take them to court’ because we just be so f—king tired. Like, we don’t even have time for that because we be doing so much s—t.”

The Bronx bombshell gave very practical insight on the complexities of property ownership, countering common advice about investing in real estate.

“People be like, ‘Oh, get property, get property, get property.’ Please, babe,” she said. She expressed frustration with the Dominican Republic Airbnb Offset bought her, stating, “Always something! Please! I don’t want properties as a gift.”

The “WAP” rapper, who has announced she is not only pregant but is filing for divorce from Offset, revealed that their experiences have led them to reconsider their real estate strategy, contemplating buying rather than renting properties in Los Angeles or Miami.

Still, owning property is a headache for her. The Grammy winner indicated she would rather have luxury items over more properties, adding, “Whether it’s home properties or investment properties. No, I love me a good f—king Birkin.”

Even with all of the issues the couple has with their real estate portfolio and rumors about the Buckhead house, those are the last things on their mind. The couple has been in the media dismissing claims that Offset is cheating on his wife.

Despite the ups and downs in their relationship over the past few months, including Cardi B filing for divorce (again). the couple show no signs of selling their shared real estate to the public.

According to the Daily News, “Cardi’s main priority is ‘obtaining primary custody’ of their two children. There has also been speculation that she’s expecting a third child — but Cardi has not publicly confirmed she’s pregnant, or acknowledged the speculation.”
