His production company, Hartbeat, has helped solidify Hart as an entertainment industry leader while endorsements with brands such as Samsung, AT&T, Wrangler, PokerStars and Mountain Dew have positioned Hart as a permanent fixture in popular culture.

Hart has called California home since the early 2000s. Here a look at his properties.

At Home In Calabasas

It’s been years since Hart has called the City of Brotherly Love home. After relocating to California when his career as an actor and comedian started to take off, Hart now calls Calabasas home.

In 2015, Hart purchased a 26-acre plot of land for $1.35 million. It took two years for Hart to get the necessary permits to build a home on the property but in April 2017 he broke ground on his project–spending an estimated $5 million.

The estate’s main house is a 9,600-square-foot Spanish villa. Since Hart built the property, it is unknown how many bedrooms and bathrooms are on the property. However, based on images appearing on various social media platforms, it is evident that Hart enjoys a space that integrates comfort, relaxation and entertainment.

An Instagram post celebrating his daughter’s fourth birthday shows a living room with a brown sectional facing a marble statement wall complete with a mounted television, and electric fireplace. A bookshelf built into the wall holds family treasures, while a nearby window seat is a cozy space for relaxing. The open concept living room leads into the family dining area with an adjacent kitchen complete with an eat-in island.

Outside is a playground for Hart’s younger children, a swimming pool, and volleyball court. An indoor/outdoor gym affectionally named Hustle Hart are also present.

In 2021, Hart expanded the property to become 42 acres when he purchased a neighboring home for $7 million.

The Starter Home

The year 2012 was one of Hart’s busiest years as an actor. He starred in three movies– ”Think Like a Man,” “Exit Strategy,” and “The Five Year Engagement” while purchasing a new house in Tarzana, California. Hart purchased a two-story residence for $1.99 million in the Mulholland Park community. Built in 2000, the Spanish-Colonial-style mansion is over 6,500 square feet with seven bedrooms and bathrooms.

The mansion’s exterior features a curved red clay roof and a series of balconies. Inside a chandelier sits in the center of the foyer, which includes white marble flooring and two winding staircases complete with wrought iron railings. Also on the first floor is a living room with a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, expansive windows, and access to the backyard.

Upstairs is a separate wing for the master suite, including a luxe bathroom with a freestanding soaking tub, fireplace, and a private balcony. Outside, there are spaces available for relaxation and entertainment. A pool with a waterfall is a focal point of the outdoor space along with a covered dining area and a kitchen.

Hart sold the residence for $2.75 million for 2019.
