‘I Don’t Want it Nomore Tho’: Rick Ross Sets Sights on Cardi B’s Lavish Atlanta Mansion After She Hints at Moving

Earlier this year Cardi B and her former husband, Offset, battled it out on social media with online insults thrown back and forth. Cardi B announced to her fans and all she was through with her marriage, and now it seems she may be ready to leave the home the hip-hop pair once shared in Atlanta.

“My casa [heart emoji]…. I don’t want it nomore tho,” the Bronx-born rapper wrote on X. When a fan inquired about her decision to sell, Cardi replied, “I don’t like living in Atlanta … I actually don’t like living nowhere else but NY.”

Cardi B’s Atlanta mansion has caught the attention of one notable potential buyer: Rick Ross. The exchange between Cardi and her fan was reposted by Instagram account @2cool2bl0g, where Rick Ross, an avid real estate collector, chimed in with a comment: “Asking price??” signaling his interest in acquiring the property.

The home was bought for $5 million in 2019, and there was some rumors that she and Offset were having trouble keeping up their mortgage payments — something Cardi shot down immediately.

“LMAOOO You bum btches wish… me and offset bought that house in 2019 for 5 million now it’s worth 7. Check the Atlanta market,” Cardi, 31, wrote on X in July. “And no, we not selling it… and if I ever sold it I would just sell my part to Offset since he loves Atlanta. Throwing salt on my home? Hating bad.”

The home features five bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.

Cardi B: New York Girl

Born and raised in the Bronx, Cardi B has always been vocal about her deep love for New York City. The “WAP” artist and Offset initially purchased the Atlanta mansion during their marriage, building a family with their three children — Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and their newborn daughter.

She also owns a second home in New jersey, worth $5.85 million and bought in 2021, according to the New York Post. That home features nine bedrooms and nine bathrooms. That home is 13,000 square feet on nearly two acres of land.

In 2021, Offset gifted Cardi an investment property in the Dominican Republic for her birthday.

Rick Ross’ Love of Real Estate

Ross, a Miami native, loves to make high-profile property purchases. He’s built an impressive real estate portfolio, including the massive Georgia mansion previously owned by Evander Holyfield and another property formerly belonging to Meek Mill. Adding Cardi’s Atlanta mansion to his Georgia collection would solidify his status as a real estate mogul. He also bought a $35 million estate in Miami last year. It’s a 12,400-square-foot residence with a 40-foot private dock and 100 feet of water frontage on Biscayne Bay.

Will Ross snap up Cardi’s home if she and Offset decide to sell? For now, Cardi has made one thing clear: Atlanta no longer feels like home.
