Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry, a standout player named NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2020, is relisting his Dallas home for around $1.6 million.
This comes after initially listing the property for nearly $1.8 million in 2023, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.
Inside the Texas Mansion
Built in 2021 and purchased by Henry in 2022, the 4,200-square-foot mansion sits on a 0.2-acre lot. The home features an open layout with floor-to-ceiling windows and soaring 20-foot ceilings, according to The Dallas Morning News.
It sports a tiled floor-to-ceiling fireplace, and there’s a black-and-white bathroom with a shower with two showerheads and a bathtub that matches the black-and-white quartz design, WSJ reported.
It seems the NFL player needs a bigger home to accommodate his growing family of his girlfriend, Adrianna Rivas, and their two daughters.
The mansion is location the Inwood Park neighborhood, just 15 minutes or 6 miles away from downtown Dallas.
Henry told the Journal, “Once I started going out to different restaurants and experiencing all that the city had to offer, I knew it was a place I could set roots long term.”
The listing agent in charge of handling the sale is Julie Provenzano of Compass, who is confident this time around the home can be sold with Inwood Park experiencing new homeowners after the election.
Last year, she said, the housing market was affected by uncertainty about the 2024 election, but of the 19 Inwood Park homes on the market, 11 of which were built in the last two years, Provenzano is seeing a busy first quarter in inquiries.
The area has been of interest to new developments since the pandemic, The Journal reported.
Henry, who started playing in the league in 2016 with the Tennessee Titans, has risen to prominence with the Ravens since joining in 2024. The Ravens went 12-5 this past season, reaching the divisional round of the playoffs before losing to the Buffalo Bills, who fell to the Kanas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.
Henry’s current net worth is estimated at $12 million, and he currently has a two-year contract with the Ravens valued at $16 million, according to Sportrac.
