One of the Texas mansions once owned by NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders has returned to the market with a $5.5 million price tag.
The sprawling 29,220-square-foot estate in Prosper, Texas, where Sanders raised his family, including sons Shedeur and Shilo, who are now pursuing their own NFL careers, awaits a new buyer to restore it to its former glory.
Inside the Mansion
Originally built in 1999 at Sanders’ direction, the property used to be called “Chateau Montclair.”
According to Zillow, the mansion sits on approximately 6 acres, a significant reduction from its original 109-acre footprint.
The Collin County Appraisal District stated that the property is currently owned by Preston Investment Group LLC. Sanders sold the home back in 2014 to developers who have since built single-family homes and retail space near the mansion, D Magazine reports.
Despite changing hands multiple times, listing agent Heather Stevens of The Agency Frisco notes that Sanders was actually the last person to live in the residence.
“So, the last person to actually live in the property was Deion,” Stevens told Dallas News.
The current owner purchased the property in 2022 with renovation plans but never occupied the home. Stevens suggests the ideal buyer would be an athlete willing to undertake the restoration project, with the property priced below a recent appraisal to account for needed renovations.
The architectural masterpiece makes an unforgettable impression with its dramatic grand foyer featuring a floating double staircase, towering ceilings, marble flooring everywhere, and floor-to-ceiling windows.
The mansion’s entertainment wing reflects Sanders’ larger-than-life personality with amenities including a home theater, indoor pool, two-lane bowling alley, indoor basketball court, sauna, steam shower, barbershop, recreation room with bar, and fitness center.
The primary suite exemplifies luxury living with a fireplace, kitchenette, built-in laundry station, in-ground jetted spa, direct access to a two-car garage, and an impressive 3,000-square-foot custom two-story closet featuring a glass walkway and integrated tailoring space. Outside, the estate offers views of an 8-acre fully stocked pond, a private dock, outdoor pool, outdoor kitchen, and ample entertaining space.
With 9 bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms, and 2 half-baths, the estate delivers an extraordinary blend of comfort and functionality. The home’s 14-bay garage includes two oversized spaces that could accommodate a yacht or RV, ensuring ample room for luxury vehicles and toys.
This Prosper property should not be mistaken for Deion Sanders’ sprawling “Prime Ranch” in Canton, located roughly 60 miles east of Dallas.
Featured prominently in his reality show, “Deion’s Family Playbook,” with sons Shedeur and Shilo, the 5,000-acre Canton property served as a private compound for family life, elite athletic training, and outdoor leisure — complete with a turf football field, basketball court, swimming pool, and hot tub. It’s a nod to the high-performance lifestyle the Sanders family embodies.
The Prosper estate was used in the earlier reality show, “Deion & Pilar: Prime Time Love.”
The listing of the Prosper mansion comes after Shedeur Sanders, once projected as a top-three NFL draft pick, was selected by the Cleveland Browns as the 144th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL draft. His older brother, Shilo, signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent — an opportunity that led their father to publicly thank Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles for his belief in the young safety.
