Doesn’t Even Drive: Trump’s Million-Dollar Car Collection Has Many Wondering Why

Donald Trump boasts an extensive collection of luxury cars, despite rarely getting behind the wheel himself. During his presidency, driving duties were left to the Secret Service. His lineup reflects his persona — flashy, expensive, and bold — but most of the vehicles remain low-mileage showpieces, sitting in his garage like trophies.

Trump spoke out against calls for a boycott of Elon Musk’s companies and said he would purchase a Tesla vehicle in what he calls a ‘show of confidence and support’ for Elon Musk. Here’s a list of cars reportedly once owned by Trump, though is no confirmation they are still in his garage:

Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud (1956)

The president owns a Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, and according to Philkotse, it was one of the first cars he ever bought. Its value depends heavily on condition and history, but in today’s classic car market, most sell for anywhere between $26,000 and $116,000. It comes equipped with a 4.9-liter inline-six engine producing 178 horsepower, paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission.

Rolls-Royce Phantom (2015)

Trump has owned a 2015 Rolls-Royce Phantom, which goes for about $400,000. Outlets like Business Insider have reported on the modern Phantom, which is powered by a 6.8-liter V12 engine producing 453 horsepower.

Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren (2003)

This supercar with butterfly doors, born from AMG and McLaren’s partnership, was reportedly delivered to Trump at Trump Tower in 2004. Powered by a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 producing 617 horsepower and capable of running the quarter-mile in just over 11 seconds, it stands as one of the flashiest and fastest cars in his collection.

Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard (2015)

Another modern car in Trump’s collection is the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard, an armored luxury sedan that offers protection against grenades and gunfire while still packing a 6.0-liter bi-turbocharged V12, the same engine found in the G65 AMG Wagon, producing 621 horsepower, according to Luxury Launches. When it debuted, this military-grade vehicle was valued at around $268,000, according to Hot Cars.

Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster (1997)

Fitting with his taste for European flair, Trump’s Blu Le Mans 1997 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster is a mid-engine supercar with iconic Italian design, powered by a 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V12 producing 492 horsepower, capable of reaching a top speed of 202 mph. This one-of-a-kind custom later sold at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale auction for $1.1 million on Jan. 26, 2024.

Ferrari F430 F1 Coupe 2007

Trump loves fast supercars, so naturally, he once owned the 2007 Ferrari F430 F1 Coupe with a 4.3-liter V8 putting out 483 horsepower, with a 0–60 of 3.6 seconds and a top speed just shy of 200 mph.

Sticker price when new was around $180,000, though clean examples now range from $100,000–$250,000. Trump eventually sent his to auction, proving even he doesn’t hold on to every toy forever.

Cadillac Allanté (1989)

Cadillac Motors Division sent Trump a 1989 Cadillac Allanté along with a pair of custom Trump-branded limousines, according to Jalopnik. His Allanté gift came in a gold paint finish. Under the hood was a 4.5-liter V8 with 200 horsepower, wrapped in Italian Pininfarina styling. Back then, these convertibles sold for about $55,000, but today they trade between $10k–$25k depending on condition.

Cadillac Escalade / Cadillac One/ The Beast

The presidential state car is an armored Cadillac DTS built on a heavy-duty GM truck platform, tipping the scales at around 15,000 pounds with armor, night-vision cameras, and sealed protection against chemical attacks. Each unit costs an estimated $1.5–$1.6 million, though this one wasn’t really his; it is whoever is the president, according to The New. York Post.

Tesla Model S

In March 2025, Trump said on the White House lawn with Elon Musk in an effort to promote Tesla he bought a red Model S Tesla despite him not being about to drive the car for security reasons and may no longer have a valid driver’s license, Newsweek reported. Trump reportedly paid approximately $80,000. Most recently, a top White House official told Inside Edition that Trump, in light of his falling out with Musk, is selling his new Tesla.
