Rick Ross is putting one of South Florida homes on the market, and he’s asking for nearly twice what he paid for it.
The Biggest Boss purchased former NBA star Amar’e Stoudemire’s Southwest Ranches estate, located west of Fort Lauderdale, for $3.5 million in cash in 2021, according to People and XXL.
Ross is listing the 14,000-square-foot property for $6.5 million with Sotheby’s International Realty, HotNewHipHop reports.
The mansion sits on 2.3 acres in the upscale Landmark Ranch Estates community.
Built in 2009, the Mediterranean architecture home features six bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, a nine-car garage with a double-R logo driveway, and a two-bedroom guest house, Zillow reported.
The property inside has high ceilings, marble floors, a resort-style pool, soundproof theater, custom bar, sound system, and two offices.
Tropical and resort-like, South Florida home has a waterfall, an expansive deck perfect in which the rapper used to grill outdoor with his kitchen, fitted with a built-in station and bar.
The estate also includes a porte-cochere entryway, circular driveway, and new roof installed in 2023.
Ross’ timing comes as more celebrities continue to migrate to South Florida, with artists like The Weeknd recently buying multimillion-dollar properties in the region, Complex reports.
As Finurah previously reported, Ross still has a Miami mansion he can still call home.
He has a Miami residence on Star Island, where other big stars like Shaquille O’Neal, Jennifer Lopez, and Diddy have homes.
The Star Island 40,000-square-foot home is worth between $35 million and $37 million, and Ross was upgrading it as of February 2024.
Ross also owns the Promise Land, a suburban Atlanta property built by boxing legend Evander Holyfield. Ross bought it in 2014 for $5.8 million.
