All Eyes May Be on the Super Bowl, But Stefon Diggs’ Legal Troubles Are Kicking Off Too

New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs is facing a new round of legal trouble as he is set to make his Super Bowl debut today. A former associate has filed a defamation and civil conspiracy lawsuit tied to a stolen luxury vehicle and an alleged assault.

According to court filings obtained by multiple outlets, the lawsuit stems from a 2024 incident involving Diggs’ Ferrari, which was reported stolen after being transported from Miami to New York and then to Houston. The plaintiff, who has not been named publicly, says he previously worked for Diggs. The plaintiff claims law enforcement determined the theft was carried out by unrelated third parties. Despite that conclusion, he alleges Diggs accused him of stealing the vehicle and spread that claim within shared social and professional circles.

The lawsuit contends that the accusations caused serious harm to the plaintiff’s concierge and consulting business, leading to lost clients and reputational damage. It also alleges that tensions escalated after members of Diggs’ inner circle confronted the plaintiff in Houston and Miami, demanding the return of gifts previously given by the star receiver.

The most serious allegations center on a December 2025 incident at a Miami nightclub, where the plaintiff claims he was physically assaulted by two individuals connected to Diggs. He alleges the attack resulted in multiple injuries, including a torn ACL, and that Diggs’ brother, Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs, was present and did not intervene. Both Stefon and Trevon Diggs are named as defendants in the lawsuit, which seeks damages for defamation, vicarious liability, and civil conspiracy.

Diggs, who has enjoyed a standout season on the field and is expected to play a key role for the Patriots in the Super Bowl, has not publicly responded to the new lawsuit.

The case follows separate legal issues that emerged weeks earlier, when Diggs was accused of felony strangulation or suffocation and misdemeanor assault and battery in an alleged incident involving his personal chef at his Massachusetts home. Diggs has denied those allegations, and the matter remains pending.

Diggs has an estimated net worth of approximately $60 million, primarily from his lucrative NFL career, with over $157 million in total contract earnings playing for the Vikings, Bills, Texans, and New England Patriots.

With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement?

My blog has a lot of unique content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is
popping it up all over the web without my permission. Do you
know any solutions to help stop content from being stolen? I’d genuinely appreciate it.
