Mary Mary’s Tina Campbell Divorce Drama: No Prenup, Spousal Support In Play as Teddy Calls It Quits on 25-Year Marriage

Trecina “Tina” Campbell, one half of the long-running, Grammy-winning gospel duo Mary Mary, is facing a major personal and financial turning point after her husband, Glendon “Teddy” Campbell, filed for divorce after more than two decades of marriage.

According to court documents filed in Los Angeles County, Teddy Campbell cited irreconcilable differences and listed the couple’s separation date as June 2024. The pair married in August 2000. Teddy has requested visitation of their minor children and asking the court to determine spousal support at a later time, People reported.

Teddy also noted in the filing that the pair don’t need to divide any “community and quasi-community property.”

Financially, both parties, both 51 years old, have built successful careers. Tina, a popular singer and reality television star, has an estimated net worth of $10 million. Her success stems from Mary Mary’s crossover appeal in gospel and R&B, along with her solo music and television ventures.

Teddy, a gospel drummer who began playing in church as a child, has an estimated net worth of $5 million, bolstered by work with major platforms, including “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” He served as a drummer and co-lead singer in the house band led by Rickey Minor during the final three seasons of Leno’s tenure, ending in 2014. He was also the drummer on “American Idol” for ten seasons (2004–2016) and has toured with artists such as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Kelly Clarkson.

It seems the couple may not have had a prenuptial agreement.

Teddy has requested “child visitation (parenting time)” for his and Tina’s two minor children, sons Santana Campbell, 13, and Glendon Theodore Campbell II, 16.

The couple also share two other kids, daughters Laiah Simone, 24, and Meelah Jane, 18. Teddy is also dad to daughter Cierra from a previous relationship.

Tina and Teddy previously navigated a highly publicized marital crisis, including infidelity, which was documented on their reality show. At the time, Tina spoke openly about the emotional toll, making their reconciliation part of their public narrative.

Tina’s brand has long been tied to themes of faith, marriage, and perseverance. A divorce could shift public perception, though it may also mean there will be a new chapter in her personal and artistic journey.
