Mariah Carey is giving fans the “Ultimate Holiday Experience” with the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet her at her New York City penthouse apartment.
Carey lives in a Tribeca penthouse with with her twins, Moroccan and Monroe, whom she shares with Nick Cannon. Her Empire State Building apartment is just one of many properties she owns, having other real estate in California, Georgia, Colorado, as well as in the Bahamas and Italy.

In a partnership with Booking.com, Carey, whose net worth is $500 million, is offering two guests a three-night Christmas getaway stay at New York City’s Plaza Hotel from December 16 to 19 for a total of $20.19 — priced in honor of the year her single, “All I Want for Christmas is You” first reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. As part of the package, there will be a meet-and-great at her penthouse.
For those wondering what is the Plaza Hotel, it is the same setting of “Home Alone 2″ and “Eloise at the Plaza.”
The instructions are simple: Visit Booking.com on Dec. 14 at 5 p.m. EST and be the first person to purchase the package.
In addition to the luxury stay, fans will be given a tour of Top of the Rock, where they can see the Rockefeller Christmas Tree from a bird’s eye view, tickets to the “Christmas Spectacular” in Radio City Music Hall, a shopping excursion at Saks Fifth Avenue, and reservations at Nobu and Mr. Chow, the superstar’s favorite restaurants.
The New York Daily News reported the sweepstake is inspired by the singer’s holiday anthem “All I Want for Christmas.”
Country singer Andy Stone recently dropped his copyright lawsuit against her over “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” Stone sued Carey and her co-songwriter Walter Afansieff in June for $20 million, accusing the pair of copying a song he claimed he co-wrote of the same name for his band Vince Vance & the Valiants in 1989. Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas is You” is from 1994.
“Christmas in New York is an experience of a lifetime, so I partnered with Booking.com to create a special holiday-themed travel experience in my hometown during the most wonderful time of the year,” Carey said in a statement.
Fans who book her apartment will also be granted access to her already sold-out upcoming Madison Square Garden show.

DJ Khaled offered his two lucky fans a similar sweepstake package last month, with guests getting the opportunity to secure two one-night stays, Dec. 5 and 6, inside of his walk-in shoe closet for $11 per night on Airbnb.
