Nicki Minaj reportedly is now a California homeowner. She has acquired a home in Hidden Hills for nearly $20 million.
After years of house hunting and renting homes throughout Los Angeles County, this reportedly is Minaj’s first house purchase.
Hidden Hills
It seems that privacy was the major factor in Minaj’s decision to move to Hidden Hills, and, according to All Hip Hop, the area is highly sought after by the affluent looking to escape the public. Hidden Hills is earning the reputation of being home to the rich and famous, especially professional athletes and musicians, looking to pursue a peaceful place to live.
Some of her new neighbors include residents like Madonna, Jessica Simpson, Will and Jada Smith, and many of the Kardashians.
Hidden Hills is a predominantly white city in the Santa Monica Mountains region of Los Angeles County, and it neighbors Calabasas.
About the House
The 40-year-old rap star, whose net worth is estimated to be between $100 million and $150 million, bought a 12,000-square-foot residence with eight bedrooms, nine full bathrooms, and two powder rooms, according to Dirt. It is newly built.
The mansion features a three-car garage, “grassy lawns and significant landscaping for privacy,” The DailyMail noted. It also has a guest house, tennis court, saltwater pool, and poolside cabana.
“The main house itself has pocketing glass doors that open to various patios and terraces, and the upstairs master suite offers a private balcony overlooking the backyard,” Dirt reports.

Most recently, the now-married mother of one and her husband, Kenneth Petty, rented a $10 million hilltop mansion in Calabasas. It had six bedrooms and eight baths. They were reportedly paying $40,000 per month in rent.
