In 1998, Snoop Dogg released his second album, “Da Game Is To Be Sold, Not To Be Told,” and decided it was time to purchase a home. He found one in Diamond Bar, California, for $720,000. Fast forward to 2023: Snoop Dogg’s influence is a fixture in popular culture and his home is now worth $1.7 million.
His successes began when in the early 1990s he was featured on the “Deep Cover” soundtrack with producer Dr. Dre as well as the album “The Chronic.” In 1993, Snoop’s debut album, “Doggystyle,” was released and went platinum four times. Since then, he’s released over 10 albums. In addition, he’s been featured in films such as “Starsky & Hutch,” and the Starz series “BMF.” He also had a popular cooking show on VH1 with Martha Stewart called “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party” (2016-2020), and published his own first cookbook, “From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg’s Kitchen,” in 2018 and another, “Snoop Dogg Presents Goon with the Spoon” with fellow rapper E-40, which will publish in November 2023.
In addition to his entertainment career, Snoop Dogg, whose current net worth is $160 million, has entrepreneurial ventures in the cannabis, technology and food industries. In June, he launched his NFT, The Snoop Dogg Passport Series, which reportedly is known as the first “evolving digital tour collectible.” The NFT is intended to add another layer of engagement to his tour, High School Reunion, which kicked off in July.
Most recently, he launched Dr. Bombay Ice Cream, a brand featuring seven flavors of ice cream, and a cereal brand with Master P. Both are sold at Walmart.
A longtime advocate of marijuana use, Snoop owns Leafs by Snoop, a cannabis brand.
And in 2022, Snoop Dogg acquired the brand-name rights to Death Row Records, allowing him to sell merchandise and music under its name.

Snoop Dogg’s residence is spread across 2.8 acres, and the main house is 4,000 square feet. Built in 1977, the home blends traditional and contemporary design stylings, making it the perfect space for Snoop Dogg and his family.
The four-bedroom, four-bathroom abode features tile work, hardwood floors and crown moldings throughout the home, enhancing the residence’s classic feel.
Visitors entering the home are met with a comfortable and inviting living room. Featuring a two-story ceiling with large windows, the space is filled with natural light.
A large kitchen with an expansive island, cabinet storage, and counter space accentuate the modern, high-end appliances such as a Viking stove and Sub-Zero refrigerator.
Next, the formal dining room includes a large table that can accommodate 12 people. Chandeliers hang from the ceiling, and artwork hangs on the wall.
A home theater is on the lower level of the home. Leather recliner chairs, a large screen and a state-of-the-art sound system provide an intimate and immersive experience. Also on the lower level is a full-sized basketball court and indoor pool.
Upstairs, the master bedroom is steeped in comfort. There’s a master bathroom that includes a soaking bathtub and walk-in shower. In the bedroom, there’s a fireplace and a balcony that overlooks Los Angeles.
