Now that A$AP Rocky and Rihanna have another son, he is not only ready to get married, but he apparently has no problem signing a prenuptial agreement.
The couple, which has been an item since 2019, recently welcomed their second son on Aug. 3. Their second son’s name is unknown, and his birth follows that of his older sibling, Rza, in 2022. Now that they’re a family of four, as reported by RadarOnline, the rapper, whose net worth is valued at $20 million, is ready to marry Rihanna, who reportedly has a net worth of $1.7 billion.
“Rocky has been urging Rihanna to agree to marry for at least two years, and he’s happy to sign anything she wants as a show of faith,” according to RadarOnline.
The Business of Celebrity Marriage
The couple does not seem to agree on the need to marry. Previous reports reveal that while A$AP Rocky is ready for marriage, Rihanna is not. Sources told RadarOnline that Rihanna wants to protect her assets in the event that their relationship goes sour.
Rihanna has built her empire from the ground up, and is the richest female musician in the world. She launched her music career in 2005, with the album “Music of the Sun.” Throughout her career, Rihanna has sold an estimated 60 million albums and 120 million singles, and won countless awards. But it’s her work as a businesswoman — most notably in the beauty industry — that has provided her with billionaire status. In 2017, she partnered with LVMH to launch Fenty Beauty, a cosmetics brand. The following year, she founded Savage X Fenty, a lingerie brand. Both Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty are brands focused on inclusivity and comfort. In addition to her music career and brands, Rihanna owns several properties between California and Barbados.
A$AP Rocky might not have reached billionaire status, but his work as a musician and entrepreneur is notable. A$AP Rocky has released three albums and appeared on a number of collaborations with prominent hip-hop artists. In addition, he has starred in films, including “Dope” and ‘A Man Named Scott.” He owns a mansion in Beverly Hills where he stores a vast collection of cars.
Nevertheless, even with their busy lucrative careers, the couple is invested in their growing family.
A Relationship Built on Love And Respect
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were friends for several years. And while rumors of a relationship began swirling in 2013, they did not go public with their love until 2019. By 2021, the rapper said in an interview with GQ that Rihanna was “the one.” Describing her as “the love of my life,” A$AP Rocky also said, “She amounts to probably like, a million of the other ones.”
And Rihanna shares similar sentiments.
“We’re best friends with a baby… We have to be on the same page, but we’ve always kind of had that in our relationship,” Yahoo! reports. “Everything changes when you have a baby but I wouldn’t say it’s done anything but made us closer.”
