Lil Yachty believes that streamers like Kai Cenat and Adin Ross make more money than “90 percent of rappers.”
Lil Yachty, once an emerging rapper from Atlanta but now an established artist, shared his thoughts on the new generation of entertainment, specifically streamers, in comparison to his fellow rappers on the popular sneakers channel, “Cool Kicks.”
During the interview, host Adeel Shams and Yachty started to discuss the new forms of entertainment, such as streaming.
Streaming Money
“K is my brother; shout out to Kai… the young guys, the young Bros, they going; crazy [how] Kai for sure got more money than I think 90 percent rappers; 90 percent of rappers I think, K, [and] same Adin, yeah 100 percent, Adin too,” said Yachty, whose real name is Miles Parks McCollum.
For comparison, Yachty reportedly is worth $8 million. Kai, whose full name is Kailen Carlo Cenat, has an estimated net worth of $9 million, according to Yachty. And Adin Ross’ net worth is estimated to be $24 million.
So maybe Yachty has a point.

As Finurah previously reported, Cenat has been able to build a strong platform and community on Twitch, one in which his subscribers each pay $5 monthly. After just two years on the live-streaming company, he reportedly became the first Black Twitch streamer to rake in 200,000 subscribers and only the third streamer overall to do so. In March, he broke another record by reaching 300,000 subscribers.
Cenat is also a member of the popular Any Means Possible gaming collective, which includes other popular streamers like FaZe Rug, FaZe Kay, and Nadeshot. Being a part of AMP has helped Cenat to further his career and reach a wider audience.
The Bronx-reared streamer also has welcomed celebrities into his home for streamed get-togethers. He has more than 8 million followers on TikTok, 4 million followers on YouTube, and nearly 7 million on Instagram. He recently hosted Offset for a 24-hour stream.
