Former Super Bowl champion Deion Sanders, aka Coach Prime, receives attention not only for his gridiron feats but also for an exclusive and high-end car collection that mirrors his distinct persona.
A YouTube video for Well Off Media reveals the rarity of Sanders’ cars inside a storage unit on his private acre on his home compound.
In the video, as Coach Prime gives viewers a tour of his property, the Pro Football Hall of Famer shows off his golf carts and ATVs before he enters a unit that holds his vintage cars and custom scooters.
Coach Prime, boasting a net worth of $45 million, showcases his seven-car collection, including his 2018 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet valued at an impressive $117,400, according to Essentially Sports.
One of the cars he owns is a black 560 SEE Mercedes Benz, his first car in 1988, on which he rode with a license plate that reads “millionaire.”
Cars.com lists a used version of the S-Class convertible for $22,000.
Sanders explained that his cars feature suicide doors, where the rear doors open from the B pillar, opposite of the arrangement on conventional sedans.
The video also shows what appears to be a black 1965 Lincoln Continental 4-Door Convertible with suicide doors. Classic.com values the car at about $65,400.
Classic.com indicates that a car of similar caliber was sold in 2015 for $23,000.
Based on the video and another example posted on Facebook, it seems Sanders owns a black 1961 Chevrolet Impala convertible.
According to a car blog named Muhlenburg, the Impala is valued under $39,000.
As Finurah previously reported, the coveted coach purchased a mansion in Longmont, Colorado, for an undisclosed price earlier this year. As part of his transition from coaching at an HBCU, Jackson State Tigers in Jackson, Mississippi, he relocated to be committed to his role as the University of Colorado’s new football head coach.
The 6,457-square-foot residence sits on 2.5 acres and was previously listed for $3.97 million.
Before unveiling the vintage car collection, Sanders showcased a scooter decorated with a Colorado Buffalos sticker and an RV, sharing its backstory. Both vehicles were acquired during Sanders’ baseball stint with the Cincinnati Reds. Sanders recounted using the scooter to outsmart security at the team facility, where they mistook him for not being a baseball player and even grabbed the back of his shirt as he rode away.
Although his Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet was not featured in the video, Essentially Sports reported that in addition to the Porsche, Sanders owns many other modern vehicles.
From a 2016 Ford F-250 SuperDuty Lariat Diesel Crew Cab to a 2021 Cadillac Escalade, Coach Prime’s garage is a marvel of six distinctive cars, according to CarHP.
1. 2016 Ford F-250 SuperDuty Lariat Diesel Crew Cab: Sanders’s preference for robust trucks is evident in this F-250, although he later upgraded to the F-350 line to indulge his love for heavy-duty trucks. The SuperDuty is valued at $58,860.
2. 2016 Ford F-350 SuperDuty King Ranch Crew Cab: He acquired an F-350, a truck with a history of being stolen and later recovered. This SuperDuty Is valued at $57,025.
3. 2017 Custom Smart Fortwo: The Smart Fortwo in Coach Prime’s collection showcases a sleek black exterior with the jersey number “21” on the grill. Personalized touches continue to the rear hatch and tire sidewalls, proudly displaying the word “Prime.” The car is valued at 16,140.
4. 2017 GMC Savana 2500 Explorer Conversion: His full-size van in his collection features ballistic wheels, heated and massaging seats, subwoofers, an HD TV, and a raised roof, delivering a luxurious travel experience. The vehicle is valued at $54,000.
5. Sanders has a Ford F650 Super truck in his car collection, valued at $178,735 that he aptly names “Optimus Prime.” The car showcases fully personalized LED headlights, a feature valued at $4,200. Deion has incorporated a custom hood scoop valued at $3,575 into his truck. Additionally, he has introduced a carbon fiber dash, a Lund visor, flotation tires, and a black leather convertible bed. The most expensive upgrade is the Supreme Plus entertainment system, contributing an additional $8,395 to the customization.
