Snoop, born Calvin Broadus Jr., has sold over 35 million albums globally. In a significant career highlight, he acquired Death Row Records in 2022, marking a full-circle moment after launching his career there with the iconic “Doggystyle” in 1993. Billboard reports he has grossed $73.7 million on tour over his decades-long career. According to Forbes, he is now worth $160 million, and he’s how be amassed some of his fortune.

Snoop Dogg’s Business Ventures

Snoop’s latest venture is a gin brand, Still G.I.N, co-founded with Dr. Dre, retailing for $39 a bottle. In wine, he’s collaborated with 19 Crimes on “Snoop Cali Red.” His apparel line, The Snooper Market, offers branded merchandise, while Snoop Doggie Dogs provides dog accessories, reflecting his brand’s playful versatility. There’s also his food and cereal line done with Master P,  Broadus Foods. Snoop also has countless brand partnerships, icluding Corona, Dunkin’, Skechers, Petco, BIC EZ Reach, and Skechers.

Snoop Dogg reportedly earned around $500,000 per day while serving as a special correspondent for NBC during the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. And he recently inked a deal to be one of the celebrity judges on “The Voice.”

Where Snoop Drops His Money: Investments

Beyond music, Snoop’s investment portfolio is diverse, with stakes in companies like Reddit, Robinhood, and Klarna. He co-founded Casa Verde Capital in 2015, which focuses on the cannabis industry, with a portfolio estimated at $300 million, including ventures like Dutchie and Eaze. He also partners in “Uncle Snoop’s Snazzle Os” cannabis snacks.

Snoop Dogg holds a minority stake in Klarna, which was valued at approximately $20 billion as of February 2024, according to Bloomberg. He also invested early in Reddit during a $50 million funding round in 2014, and the company went public this year, boasting a market cap of over $13 billion, Investopedia reports. It is unknown if he is still an investor. Additionally, Snoop participated in a $13 million seed funding round for Robinhood in 2014, which now has a market cap nearing $24 billion. It is also has not been reported if he remains an investor in the platform.

Potential Stake in Celtic Football Club

Snoop has expressed interest in investing in Scotland’s Celtic Football Club, inspired by successful celebrity club owners. His long-time admiration for Celtic, paired with its passionate fan base, may lead to a strategic investment in European soccer.
