How He Flies: Inside Floyd Mayweather’s $65 Million Private Jet. It’s Just One of the Champ’s Elaborate Toys

Boxing champ Floyd Mayweather has never been shy about flaunting his wealth. The highest-paid boxer in history is, after all, worth an estimated $450 million.

During the course of his career he has raked in more than $1.1 billion, according to Forbes. And he likes to treat himself with expensive things. One of those expensive things is a private jet that, according to reports, costs more than most Hollywood mansions.

Mayweather is also one of the highest-paid athletes of all time, Essentially Sports reported. Money Makweather has been known to make up to $300 million for one fight, which is what he earned for his bout with Conor McGregor in 2018. He typically earned between $150 million and $300 million a year when he was fighting, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

He also has endorsement deals from such companies as Burger King, Hublot, and FanDuel that typically earn him $10 million annually.

He also generates income from his own companies, such as Mayweather Promotions and The Money Team, Business Insider reported.

While Mayweather likes to make money, he also likes to spend it.

He recently showed off his private jet on social media. Named “Air Mayweather,” is a Gulfstream G650 with a hefty price tag of $65 million, according to Forbes. Air Mayweather is also pimped out inside with a chrome interior with leather seats and gold cup holders. The champ’s gifted it to himself for his 41st birthday. He is 45 now.

The jet is equipped with an onboard masseuse, an entertainment system with TVs, luxury leather seats, a satellite phone, among other amenities, according to The Sun. The jet costs more than most luxury homes. The late NBA legend Kobe Bryant’s 15,760-square-foot, custom-built property in Newport Coast, California was  valued at $21 million. Mayweather’s jet is worth three times more than that.

Air Mayweather is not the only expensive thing that the boxer owns.

He purchased one of the most expensive timepieces in the world — the Jacob and Co Billionaire Tourbillion watch, priced at a $18 million. The timepiece has an 18k white gold case and is embedded with 239 emerald-cut baguette diamonds weighing 3 carats each. It is the only watch of its kind in the world, according to Forbes.

On the real estate end, Mayweather owns multiple properties, including a lavish 21,000-square-foot mansion in Las Vegas worth $10 million. Nicknamed the “Big Boy Mansion,” the house even has its own Instagram page. And his Los Angeles mansion with its own candy shop, a 12-seat cinema, and a wine rack with 225 bottles is worth $25 million.

Then there’s his car collection, complete with the rare supercar Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita, which boasts a top speed of over 409kph (254 mph) and costs $4.7 million; a fleet of Bugattis and Rolls Royces. The car collection is worth a reported $40 million.
