Fresh on the heels of her latest album release, “Renaissance,” Beyoncé and her husband, mogul Jay-Z, decided to do some yachting on the high seas off the coast of Croatia.
The couple set sail on Aug. 22 on a multi-level mega yacht named Faith, along with their three children, nannies, bodyguards, and the couple’s staff members.
The $200 million Faith isn’t cheap — prices start at $1.3 million a week in the summer and $1.5 million a week in the winter, according to Auto Evolution. It’s owned by Canadian billionaire Lawrence Stroll, a part-owner of the Aston Martin F1 Team.
What’s Onboard
Faith was delivered in 2017 and is a popular charter platform for the rich and famous. Faith is a massive 96.6-meter (317-foot) megayacht designed by RWD and naval architecture by Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects, it features luxury interiors, Auto Evolution reported. The mega yacht can accommodate 18 guests and 32 crew members. It features a master suite (with its own private deck), two VIP suites, four doubles, and two convertible rooms.
The yacht includes a helideck and hangar for a Bell 429 WLG helicopter, two (matching) tenders, and tons of water toys such as water slides. On top of this, the yacht is decked out with a glass-bottomed pool with a waterfall, several jacuzzis, a large gym, full spa and wellness center, an outdoor dining area with a pizza oven, barbecue and firepit, and a fold-out beach club.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z seem to love yachting.
Last year they vacationed on a $500 million yacht owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.
The mega yacht Flying Fox cost around $4 million a week.
‘Renaissance’ Revolution
To say “Renaissance” is another hit for Beyonce is an understatement. It has had 179 million streams and 190,000 copies sold as complete packages, including 121,000 on CD and 26,000 on vinyl, according to Luminate, the tracking service that supplies the data behind Billboard’s charts. Beyoncé has a net worth of $500 million, making her one of the richest singers in the world. Meanwhile, her husband, hip-hop mogul has a net worth of $1.3 billion.
