A Pricey Gift? Nick Cannon Could Have Spent a Mil to Rent Out Six Flags for the Day to Celebrate Twins’ 12th Birthday

Nick Cannon rented out the entire Six Flags Magic Mountain amusement park in California to celebrate the 12th birthday of his twins, Monroe and Moroccan, whom he shares with singer Mariah Carey.

Cannon documented the event on his Instagram page. In the caption he wrote, “Happy 12th Birthday to my first borns Roc & Roe! Daddy loves y’all forever!”

According to Cannon, Six Flags Magic Mountain, located at 26101 Magic Mountain Parkway, was booked for the twins and their friends on April 30 to play for hours in an empty amusement park.

“We rocked all night long until midnight,” said Cannon, whose net worth is estimated at $20 million, according to The New York Post.

An Expensive Gift

Finurah reached out to Six Flags for a confirmation on the cost for renting out the entire park all day, but at press time reps had not responded.

But several online sources, such as The Pricer, reported the cost to rent Six Flags Magic Mountain for a full day at least $100,000 per hour, depending on the time of year and the number of guests.

Theoretically, it would cost between $1.2 million to rent out the park for 12 hours, according to The Pricer.

The cost of a standard Six Flags ticket ranges from $30 to $150 per person, depending on the package chosen.

The cheapest and most convenient tickets are one-day tickets, which are priced at $25 to $90 per person. The most expensive and special tickets are the Diamond Passes, which cost $150. Diamond Passes include several discounts, unlimited visits, four line skips, priority parking and access to the other Six Flags-branded parks.

In Cannon’s case, renting the park on a weekday in the off-season would be less expensive than renting it on a weekend in the peak season. The number of guests also affects the cost. The more guests, the higher the cost.

Cannon, who has had 10 other kids with different women, has a tradition of renting out amusement parks to celebrate. For the twins’ birthday last year, he rented out a waterpark. And he and Carey shut down Disneyland on his twins’ second birthday.

According to Starcasm, The Kardashians arranged for Kendall Jenner’s 18th birthday celebration to be held at another Six Flags in 2013.
