Cannon Goes to the Suburbs

The inconspicuous mansion located at 23352 Califa St. matches the description provided by Robb Report. It was sold for $3,050,000 on Nov. 30, 2023, according to Home.com.

Originally constructed in 1952, this single-family detached home boasts a charming farmhouse style with a split-level layout.

The outdoor area reportedly resembles a luxurious resort, providing the perfect setting for relaxation and recreation, including activities like grilling and swimming in the pool. Inside, the mansion offers entertainment, security, and gourmet dining options, featuring vaulted ceilings, an elegant “music room,” formal dining spaces, and a chef’s kitchen equipped with high-end appliances.

The large kitchen also features a 60-foot center island, while the master suite has a fireplace and spa-style bath.

The property includes a garage with six open parking spots.

A subtle indication that the home could serve as a transition for Cannon’s 11 children from six mothers to join him is the presence of several private schools in the area, according to Compass. These schools cater to various grade levels, from kindergarten through 5th grade, 6th grade through 8th grade, and high school, all within less than a mile of each other.

Over the years, Cannon has demonstrated a consistent pattern of investing in properties, whether for himself or his family, signifying a mix of short-term investments and long-term real estate endeavors, according to Architectural Digest.

In 2002, after his breakthrough role in “Drumline,” Cannon purchased homes for his parents, grandparents, and himself, including a property in Chula Vista, California, which he later sold for $603,500 in 2019.

In 2009, together with his ex-wife Mariah Carey, he acquired a Bel Air mansion for $6.975 million, eventually selling it for $9 million in 2015.

Following their separation, Cannon purchased a residence in Saddle River, N.J., for $3 million, and later acquired an apartment in Washington, D.C., while pursuing studies at Howard University.

Additionally, in September 2022, he purchased a new house for the mother of his twins Zion and Zillion, DJ Abby De La Rosa.

As Finurah previously reported, the “Wild ‘N Out” creator allocates more than $33 million annually to support his children without the reliance on traditional child support intervention. With a nursery situated in his office building, Cannon further demonstrates his commitment by bringing some of his children to business meetings, maximizing his time with them whenever possible.
