Russell Wilson and Ciara Look to Offload Two Expensive Properties In Seattle and Denver at Combined Estimated Cost of More Than $50 Million

Russell Wilson is getting ready for the 2024 football season as a free agent with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he still has unfinished business in Seattle and Colorado.

The Super Bowl championship quarterback and his wife, Ciara, currently have two homes on the market that need to be sold. Wilson, who is worth a reported $135 million, was cut from the Denver Broncos in early March. The cut was expected as Wilson had a rocky relationship with head coach Sean Payton and he was benched for the final two games of the 2023-2024 season. The Broncos will absorb an $85 million cost in dead cap charges, making it the most expensive dead cap charge-off in NFL history. Meanwhile, Wilson will play on a one-year deal with the Steelers.

Weeks before the cut was made public, Wilson and Ciara quietly placed their Denver mansion up for sale and were showing the home.

Leaving Colorado

Wilson and Ciara purchased their mansion in Cherry Hills Village for $25 million in April 2022. It was the highest-recorded home sale in the history of the Denver area. Today, the listing price is not known.  The home sits on five acres of land and is 20,000 square feet. The first floor includes a living room, library, large dining room and a kitchen with high-end appliances. Upstairs includes four bedrooms and a guest apartment with a kitchen.

Sitting On The Market

The couple’s Seattle home has sat on the market for two years. In 2022, when Wilson was traded to the Denver Broncos, the residence was placed on the market for $36 million. Today, Wilson and Ciara have dropped the price to $26 million and are still accepting offers. The home, located in Bellevue, has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Nestled on the banks of Lake Washington across from Seattle, the home sits on 1.89 acres.

Other Homes In Real Estate Portfolio

Although the couple is eager to offload their homes in Seattle and Denver, they still own several other properties. A home in San Diego is considered their “home away from home,” as Wilson often hosts offseason football practices for other NFL players.

Meanwhile, Wilson and Ciara’ properties in Los Angeles and Mexico are often used for both personal and business travel — a necessity for their growing family.

Nevertheless, as Wilson prepares for life with the Steelers, he is “excited for what’s next,” he shared in a farewell letter to his Broncos teammates.
