Just How Wealthy Is Eve’s Husband Maximillion Cooper? Questions Swirl Around Viral Holiday Photos

Since becoming a mother in 2022, hip-hop artist Eve has been out of the limelight. However, a series of holiday photographs of Eve and her extended family have gone viral and sparked lively conversations on several social media platforms. 

A British Holiday

On December 30, Eve’s British husband, Maximillion Cooper, posted photographs featuring the couple and extended family. The picture in controversy is of Cooper, Eve, and their extended family seated at a stately dinner table. Eve is the only Black woman in the photograph. There are other photos taken in front of what appears to be a imposing UK manor.

Cooper, who is worth a reported $60 million, is the owner of the Gumball 3000, a yearly international car rally. Cooper developed the car rally in 1999. Today, it has expanded to include clothing and the Gumball 3000 foundation. While he has earned his own fortune, Cooper, a former race car driver, reportedly comes from a well-off family in England, though there is very little info available for his family’s roots. Eve, who has released four studio albums since 1999 and has appeared in several films such as “Barbershop” and “Barbershop 2” and television series including “Eve,” is worth a reported $25 million. 

Aside from wealth, the couple share a son, who was born in 2022. Eve has been the “bonus mom” to Cooper’s four children since the couple married in 2014, four years after meeting at a Gumball car rally in 2010. 

Family Photos Go Viral; Couple Ignores Comments 

As Cooper and Eve enjoyed the holidays, comments about their interracial relationship continued to swirl on several platforms. 

On Instagram, for instance, comments on the photographs ranged from one user saying,  “Eve ain’t got one Black relative she invited to her family dinner??? WTF?!???” to “Her family must be serving the food” and “No shade, Yall look beautiful but where is Eve’s family?” Finally, another added “I don’t care what anyone has to say. I am truly and deeply happy for Eve. She deserves the best out of life.”

The photos seem to have been deleted from Cooper’s Instagram page.

Having fans comment on their lives is not new for Cooper and Eve, who have been open about their interracial relationship.  

“In the beginning, I think it was tough in a sense that I was like, where does this fit in? Are we really going to be able to get each other?” Eve shared in an interview with People. “Because we are so different. Just being British alone, and me being American is different. But for him to be a white man with a Black woman — we definitely talked about it, I had issues about it, but we talk it out.”
