Built in the 1930s by Warner Bros. co-founder Jack Warner, the estate centers around a 13,600-square-foot Georgian mansion that reads like a movie set designer’s dream. Interior details include frescoed walls, carved marble fireplaces, and English paneling salvaged from 18th-century buildings. Legend holds that the wooden floors once supported Napoleon himself during a marriage proposal, adding an almost mythical quality to the home’s provenance.

The estate’s amenities extend far beyond the main house. Guests can explore multiple guesthouses, including one reportedly used by Marilyn Monroe during Hollywood’s golden age. A nine-hole golf course provides private recreation, while the property also features swimming facilities, tennis courts, manicured gardens, and a koi pond. Perhaps most unusually, the motor court includes its own private gas station, ensuring Bezos never needs to make mundane fuel stops.

Recent years brought additional enhancements to the Warner Estate. After purchasing an adjacent $10 million parcel for expansion, Bezos navigated permit challenges and construction delays before completing major upgrades by early 2024. The improvements included a reef-themed swimming pool and new tennis court, demonstrating his commitment to maintaining this Hollywood landmark despite living 3,000 miles away.
