It looks like no one’s rushing to grab the late Ivana Trump’s lavish Manhattan townhouse, which remains unsold and struggling to attract a buyer.

Ivana, the first ex-wife of former President Donald Trump and mother to Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric, once called the opulent residence home while raising her children there.
According to Vanity Fair, she also left behind an estate valued at $34 million, with her fortune divided among her three eldest children.
The 8,725-square-foot, six-story limestone townhouse in Lenox Hill has been listed since November 2022, according to People.
When the property first hit the market, the asking price was $26.5 million, People reported.
By September 2023, it dropped to $22.5 million before being briefly pulled from the market, Realtor.com reported.
It resurfaced in June 2024 with a $19.5 million tag, and it now sits at $17.9 million, according to The New York Post — an overall reduction of about 32 percent, or $8.6 million, in less than two years.
The townhouse is tied to a somber history. It’s where Ivana, at 73, fell down the staircase while holding a cup of coffee.
She was discovered nearby, unresponsive, with the spilled cup beside her.
While the Trump name remains polarizing, the challenge may be that the house is luxury in name only.
Built in 1899, the property once housed a dental office before Ivana purchased it in 1992 for $2.5 million after her divorce from Trump, The Irish Times reported.
Adjusted for today, that purchase equates to roughly $5.4 million.
The townhouse, customary for the Czech-American businesswoman who passed away on July 14, 2022, offers features such as 700 square feet of outdoor space, a media room, a Swedish sauna, and a garden, according to IG Mansions.
However, the interiors are highly personalized. The five-bedroom, five-bathroom, one half-bath property at 10 E. 64th St. is filled with gold trims, fabrics, curtains, and chandeliers.
One room is entirely covered in leopard print, while a bathroom is decked out in pink marble.
For a prospective buyer, embracing the current décor may require millions more in renovations, a major factor keeping the townhouse from selling.
The property also lacks modern features expected at its price point, including a full-size kitchen.
Proceeds from any eventual sale are expected to be split among Ivana’s three children as part of her estate, The Irish Times reported.
Forbes reported that Eric Trump is responsible for managing the estate and its dissolution; if he is unable to fulfill his duties, the role falls to Ivana’s accountant.
The Trump kids might not be too worried about the property as Rolling Stone has reported that the Trump family has already made a whopping $3.4 Billion off Donald Trump’s second term as president.
Outside of the family, Dorothy Curry, Ivana’s Irish assistant and longtime nanny, helped raise the children while Ivana navigated life in the U.S. with limited English proficiency.
Curry got Ivana’s Yorkshire terrier, named Tiger Trump, and a Florida condo estimated to be worth more than $1 million, according to Forbes.
