Zendaya and Tom Holland may have mastered the art of keeping their relationship private, but preserving one reported piece of their wedding history could require some very sophisticated real estate.

The actors reportedly plan to build a custom, climate-controlled room inside one of their homes to protect Zendaya’s $269,000 wedding gown. The long-sleeved, high-neck lace creation was designed by Schiaparelli and has never been publicly photographed.
According to The U.S. Sun, sections of the dress are made from delicate silk that could discolor or deteriorate under improper conditions. The room would reportedly need to remain between 59 and 64 degrees Fahrenheit, with humidity carefully regulated.
Rather than turning the gown over to a professional archival company, Zendaya reportedly wants to keep it at home. That would allow the actress to maintain control over the sentimental garment while keeping it away from curious employees, misplaced inventory and cameras.

Zendaya has assembled a real estate portfolio that stretches from California to New York. In 2016, she paid $1.4 million for a 4,155-square-foot Mediterranean-style home in Northridge, California. The five-bedroom property features vaulted ceilings and the Cinderella-style spiral staircase she once celebrated on social media.
In 2019, she purchased a secluded Encino estate for nearly $4 million. The 3.7-acre spread includes six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a guesthouse and private hiking trails. It was once offered as a luxury rental for approximately $12,900 per month.
Two years later, Zendaya added a $4.9 million condominium at Brooklyn’s Quay Tower. The three-bedroom residence comes with New York Harbor views and an elevator that opens directly into the apartment. Reports have placed its potential monthly rent near $16,000.
Her Hollywood Hills holdings may offer the most room for expansion. Zendaya reportedly purchased a contemporary home there for $6.5 million in 2024. In February 2026, she paid slightly more than $2 million for an adjacent fixer-upper, creating the makings of a private compound.
Holland, meanwhile, owns a six-bedroom house near his London childhood neighborhood of Kingston upon Thames. He reportedly purchased it for roughly $3.2 million in 2018 before completing extensive renovations in 2023. The upgraded property, now valued at more than $4.7 million, reportedly includes a gym, cinema and games room. Surely, one room can be spared for couture.
The extravagant preservation project represents a manageable expense for Zendaya. Her fortune is commonly estimated between $30 million and $40 million, although celebrity net worth figures are not audited. Her income extends beyond acting salaries to producing credits on “Euphoria” and “Challengers,” plus partnerships with Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, Lancôme and Prada Beauty. Her three released “Spider-Man” films have collectively earned more than $3.9 billion worldwide.
The gown report arrives amid fresh confusion about whether the couple has actually completed an official wedding ceremony.
Holland appeared to confirm a marriage in a June interview after viral AI wedding photographs worried his grandmother. When asked whether relatives needed reassurance, he replied that they did not because “they were all there.”
The couple also reportedly hosted an intimate celebration at England’s Beaverbrook Hotel on Aug. 4. Holland has publicly called Zendaya “my wife,” while she has worn a wedding band at several major appearances.
However, stylist Law Roach scrambled the timeline at the Sept. 14 Emmy Awards.
After previously claiming the pair had quietly married, according to USA Today. He told reporters, “I actually lied, she wasn’t married.”
Roach said an “official ceremony” would happen after the “Dune: Part Three” press tour. He also dismissed the circulating AI wedding images and called the computer-generated dress “ugly.”
Roach admitted he could be misleading everyone again. That would be on brand for a couple determined to keep its private life private.
Whether the Schiaparelli gown has already traveled down an aisle or is still waiting for its grand entrance, its reported $269,000 price tag makes one thing clear: This is no ordinary garment bag situation.
