The Buckhead estate, once owned by movie producer Tyler Perry, was purchased for $15 million, according to Dirt.
Harvey is the current host of “The Steve Harvey Morning Show,” “Family Feud,” “Celebrity Family Feud,” “Family Feud Africa,” and the court comedy “Judge Steve Harvey.” In 2017, Harvey established the entertainment company Steve Harvey Global. Along with his wife, Marjorie, Harvey is the founder of The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation, a nonprofit focused on youth development. Harvey began his rise to fame in the 1980s as a standup comedian. He was the longest host of “Showtime at the Apollo,” and starred in “The Steve Harvey Show” series. Harvey was featured as part of The Original Kings of Comedy. He has also published four books, including his bestseller “Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man.” And Harvey is no stranger to acclaim. He has won seven Daytime Emmy Awards, two Marconi Awards and 14 NAACP Image Awards in several categories. Reportedly, Harvey’s current net worth is $200 million.

Located on land overlooking the Chattahoochee River in Atlanta, Harvey’s estate sits on 17 acres and includes a 35,000-square-foot mansion inspired by the Palace of Versailles.
The mega mansion features seven bedrooms and nine-and-a-half bathrooms. In addition, Harvey uses formal and informal spaces to entertain guests and relax with his family. There’s also a movie theater, wine cellar and indoor swimming pool. Yet the big surprise is the underground ballroom that includes a catering kitchen.
The estate’s exterior features manicured lawns flanked by trimmed gardens. A Versailles-style painting makes up the bottom of Harvey’s 70,000-gallon infinity edge swimming pool. There’s also a lighted tennis court, a gym and a spa.
Guests can stay in Harvey’s guesthouse, while his staff also has a place on the estate: a detached caretaker’s suite and a guardhouse. An advanced security system keeps Harvey and his family safe, while a backup generator is present in case of a blackout.
Previous Owners
Producer Tyler Perry purchased the estate in 2005, for $9 million. Over the next few years, he spent several million dollars on renovations. In 2016, Perry sold it for $17.5 million. Originally, Perry placed it on the market for $25 million but after spending almost two years without a buyer, the estate was sold at a lower price to David Turner, an entrepreneur specializing in dried fruit and nuts. Turner, who is also an evangelist, said, “I went online, and I saw this house, and that’s when I felt like God told me, ‘This is your house.’ ” Five years later, Turner sold it to Harvey for $15 million and lost an estimated $2.5 million.
A Look At Harvey’s Real-Estate Portfolio
Harvey is no stranger to Atlanta real estate. In addition to his current residence, Harvey owns another large residence within the city limits, which he purchased in 2010, for almost $3.4 million. The 9,300-square-foot mansion is located 20 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta.
In the summer of 2020, Harvey sold a 6,500-square-foot estate in Little Elm, Texas. The residence, located in a suburb of Dallas, sold for an undisclosed amount. However, it was listed for $1.075 million, according to Dirt.
In 2013, Harvey purchased a 5,500-square-foot penthouse at Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago. He sold the condo in 2018, for $7.7 million.
