Cannon, who is the father of 12 children, has a current net worth of $50 million. Not only is Cannon the current host of “The Masked Singer,” he also produces the show through his production company, Ncredible Productions — a move that allows him to earn a portion of the show’s profits in addition to his hosting fee. He also created and hosts the long-running MTV show “Wild N Out.” He was also the host of “America’s Got Talent” and the radio show “Nick Cannon Mornings.”

The actor, host and hip-hop artist got his start in entertainment when he was a teenager, by helping his father host a local cable television show. He later began performing standup comedy routines at The Laugh Factory and The Improv. Cannon’s first television role was on the Nickelodeon sketch comedy show “All That.”

Film roles in movies such as “Men in Black II” and his breakout role in “Drumline” helped solidify Cannon as a young actor to watch. He went on to star in films such as “Love Don’t Cost A Thing,” “Shall We Dance” and “Roll Bounce.” For his role in “Bobby,” he received a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Breakthrough Actor of the Year Award at the Cannes Film Festival.

In addition to acting roles, Cannon was also a recording artist for several years — first in a group Da G4 Dope Bomb Squad, and later as a solo artist.

Cannon has shared of spending $3 million for each of his children. And to do that, he’s got to do more than host television shows. He has cultivated a real estate portfolio that could carve a way for his children to achieve generational wealth.

First Foray Into Real Estate

With the success of “Drumline,” Cannon immediately began purchasing real estate. Not only did he buy homes for his parents and grandparents, he bought a home for himself in Chula Vista, California. The home was 2,173 square feet and cost Cannon $412,000. He sold the home in 2019 for $603,500.

A Bel Air Upgrade

Cannon married songstress Mariah Carey in 2008. Shortly afterward, the couple purchased a Bel Air mansion for $6.975 million. The 11,750-square-foot residence included seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms. It also included six fireplaces, a home movie theater, a basketball court and a gym. The highlight of the home was the Aspen Room, a space that could entertain several hundred guests. The space featured vaulted beamed ceilings and a stone fireplace. Following their separation in 2014, Carey and Cannon sold the residence for $9 million in 2015.

A Quiet Town Close to New York City

After separating from Carey, Cannon wanted to live close enough to New York City for work, but far enough away that he could have some peace. He settled in Saddle River, New Jersey, a town 25 miles from New York City that is known for its spacious homes. Initially, Cannon was paying $11,000 a month in a rent-to-own agreement for an 8,731-square-foot home that was valued at $3 million. The home includes a two-story grand entryway, a winding staircase, several stone fireplaces, and, in the kitchen, a crystal chandelier.

A Growing Brood Needs New Homes

Cannon currently has 12 children. His eldest are twins Monroe and Moroccan with Carey. He also has 10 other children with several different women that he refers to as parenting partners. As early as 2022, Cannon revealed that he has purchased homes for all of his children and their mothers. One parenting partner, DJ Abby De La Rosa, revealed on Instagram that Cannon had purchased a residence for her and twins Zion and Zillion. However, information regarding any of these properties has not been made available to the public.
