Patrick Mahomes’ mother, Randi Mahomes, is parting ways with their family home in Tyler, Texas, after being gifted a new house.
Randi has listed the childhood home — where she raised Patrick and his brother Jackson — for $285,000, according to Realtor.com. Purchased in 2006, the three-bedroom, two-bathroom property sits on a quiet street at 3110 Oleander Drive.
Inside the Home
The exact purchase price from 2006 remains unknown.
The humble abode does not have any luxury features, just the following simple ones: carpet flooring, large windows, a kitchen with marble countertops and grey cabinetry, and a large backyard.
The new house, thanks to Mahomes and Patrick’s wife, is an $825,000 upgrade. Still in Texas in an undisclosed area, the four-bedroom home comes complete with a formal dining room, butler’s pantry, spa-like primary suite with a floating tub, and fresh landscaping including flower beds and trees.
The US Sun reported that the old home went up for sale on April 24. The gifted house, newly constructed and given in March 2024, will serve as a place for Randi and 13-year-old Mia, Patrick’s little sister.
It will also be a place where Randi can have the grandchildren come over.
“Home is where the heart is — and my heart is full! Beyond grateful for my amazing family and my grandbabies for this incredible blessing,” Randi wrote on Instagram. “Being a Mom and Grandi is the greatest joy of my life, and I’m so thankful for the love that surrounds me every day. Here’s to new memories, laughter, and love in this beautiful new home!”
Patrick and his wife primarily live in Belton, Missouri, where being a quarterback for the Kansas City Chief, takes top priority.
Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, once owned a serene 1.4-acre property they purchased for $1.925 million. Originally built in 1953, the 4,300-square-foot home included three bedrooms and four bathrooms. The couple gave the home a modern overhaul, adding luxe features like a wine room, wet bar, and open-concept kitchen. Outside, the grounds featured a pool, rose garden, patio, and sun porch. But in 2023 they sold the home for $2.9 million.
