Moving On

The Daily Mail reports that Lopez is expanding her already more than 10,000-square-foot residence, which she purchased for $21 million.

“Jennifer wants the home to be exactly as she likes it. She has a specific vision for the place, and she wants it redone to perfection,” an insider told Daily Mail.

Lopez — who filed for divorce from Ben Affleck in August 2024, citing April 26 as their separation date — owns 2.5 acres within the same gated community as the Kardashian-Jenner family.

The property features a barn, stables, riding arena, guest house, pool, private theater, chef’s kitchen, a gym, five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a home theater, a wet bar, and a massage room.

The mansion also provides peace of mind for Lopez and her twins, Max and Emme, due to its top security measures.

According to the British tabloid, part of her motivation for maximizing the comfort of the Hidden Hills estate is her desire to remain out of the public eye while transitioning to single life.

The mansion was previously bought by Creedence Clearwater Revival’s John Fogerty in October 2023 for $17.2 million, who purchased it from Sylvester Stallone, who had acquired the property in February 2022 for $18 million.

Fogerty listed the property for sale in April 2024 at $21.5 million, according to Traded.

Despite the ongoing renovations, Lopez continues to reside at the Beverly Hills mansion she once shared with Affleck — a property initially listed for $60 million but later delisted in May 2025 after failing to attract buyers.

Affleck has since purchased a $20.5 million Pacific Palisades bachelor pad in July 2024, SFGate reported.

Lopez remains at the property, a 38,000-square-foot home on a 5.2-acre lot in the Beverly Crest community.

It includes 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse, a caretaker house, a two-bedroom guardhouse, a 12-car garage, basketball and pickleball courts, a boxing ring, gym, sports lounge, bar, pool, and multiple outdoor seating areas.

The reason why the Beverly Hills property is a hard sell could be due to its high maintenance costs, which is estimated at $284,000 per month, along with Los Angeles’ mansion tax, adding more than $3 million to its $60 million initial asking price.
