Jennifer Lopez may have finalized her divorce from Ben Affleck earlier this year, but one chapter of their relationship seems to be still open: the $60 million Beverly Hills mansion they once shared.

Home, Sweet Home?
Recent Instagram posts show Lopez preparing for red carpet events inside the 38,000-square-foot estate, confirming that she is still residing in the palatial home two months after it was taken off the market. The singer and actress, 56, and Affleck, 53, originally purchased the 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom property in May 2023 for $60.9 million. The couple later spent millions on renovations before listing it for $68 million in July 2024, only to cut the price to $59.9 million this May. With no buyer in sight, the property was removed from the market in July.

The Beverly Hills property includes an indoor sports complex with basketball and pickleball courts, a boxing ring, a sports lounge, and a bar. Outdoors, there are pools, fire pits, a 12-car garage, and parking for up to 80 vehicles.
Selling the property has reportedly been difficult. High maintenance costs, estimated at $284,000 per month, along with Los Angeles’ mansion tax (which could take more than $3 million off the sale price) seems to have scared off potential buyers.

Despite purchasing a $17.5 million Hidden Hills estate earlier this year after her divorce, Lopez appears to continue to occupy the Beverly Hills home. According the Daily Mail, the decision stems from ongoing renovations at her new property, which make it “not comfortable” for her to move in yet.
Lopez’s new Hidden Hills mansion, on two acres, spans 8,600 square feet and includes eight bathrooms, five bedrooms, a home theater, a wet bar, and a massage room. The home is in same gated community as the Kardashian-Jenner family.
Affleck has moved on to a $20.5 million bachelor pad in Pacific Palisades, purchased in July 2024.
