Kevin Hart’s current tour is getting backlash, with some reviews saying he’s coming off as an out-of-touch billionaire with a wealth level so high that he claims he does not even know what a Biscoff cookie is and he has not flown commercial in 14 years.

So How Much Is Hart Worth?
Sitting down recently with Complex’s Speedy Morman for “360 With Speedy,” Hart opened up about everything from his late mother to working with social media stars like Druski and Kai Cenat.
And, of course, on the Nov. 25 episode Speedy could not resist asking the question he asks almost every guest: What is Kevin Hart really worth?
Speedy pointed out that Google searches show Hart’s net worth at about $400 million.
That figure has circulated for years, but Hart immediately pushed back.
“I don’t know what that means,” he said at one point, adding that you cannot trust everything you read online.
When Speedy pressed him again, Hart got clearer, saying, “No, it’s not… that number is far off. It’s extremely far.”
Speedy took Hart’s comment like a challenge, almost like a guessing game. Was he worth a lot more, or maybe a lot less, that was the question.
Part of the guessing game was Speedy asking if Hart had recently flown on a commercial plane.
Hart, after taking a pause, said it had been 14 years since he was on one.
Speedy then asked if he remembered the delight of a Biscoff cookie during his flight. Hart said he does not know what it is, joking that he would like to try some.
It is unclear whether he has ever heard of it, but it is possible that a rich person like Hart would be far removed from those small commercial flight details.
While Hart refused to confirm either way, saying, “What is worth, right? I think the abundance of value comes in happiness,” Speedy brought up Hart’s past goal of becoming a billionaire by age 45.
Hart, now 46, told CBS’ Gayle King about this ambitious goal when he was 42 back in 2021.
The comedian laughed off the idea of “failing,” saying failure is “in the eye of the beholder.”
By the end of the back and forth, Speedy called him a “self-made Black billionaire,” to which Hart simply replied, “I don’t think I’ve ever confirmed or denied anything.”
If Hart were to reach that milestone, he would be among the very few American Black figures to have achieved it.
Some of the better-known figures who already have made it include Robert F. Smith, Michael Jordan, Oprah Winfrey, Jay-Z, Tyler Perry, Tiger Woods, LeBron James, and Magic Johnson.
Hart’s entertainment company, HARTBEAT, which combines his production and comedy brands, received a $100 million investment in 2022 and was valued at roughly $650 million. Hart owns a substantial stake, making the company the single biggest contributor to his wealth.
He also controls the comedy platform Laugh Out Loud, which feeds directly into HARTBEAT’s growing library of content deals with Netflix, Peacock, and other major distributors.
His premium tequila label, Gran Coramino, has become one of the fastest-growing celebrity spirits on the market, while HartBeat Ventures invests in wellness, lifestyle, and tech companies like Hydrow and MoonPay.
From Fabletics to Old Spice, he has had consistent partnerships with big brands, holding his image to being connected with high-value revenue streams that go far beyond stand-up or acting alone.
