That Streaming Money

The 21-year-old streaming superstar has reportedly purchased a 26,600-square-foot warehouse near Miami’s West Little River.

According to The Real Deal, the industrial property sits on a 1.8-acre lot and will be converted into a dedicated content creation studio.

The warehouse, located at 8700 NW Seventh Ave. in unincorporated Miami-Dade County, was reportedly purchased from an entity managed by Edgar and Farid Guanuna, whose company, Limited Spec Automotive, operates a luxury used-car dealership connected to the property.

IShowSpeed, whose real name is Darren Jason Watkins Jr., was once known primarily for his over-the-top “NBA 2K” and “Fortnite” livestreams. The Ohio native has transformed himself into one of the biggest internet personalities in the world by evolving beyond gaming. In recent years, he has built a major international following through soccer-related videos, collaborations with Cristiano Ronaldo and livestreams from countries across Africa. During his African tour, he surpassed 50 million YouTube subscribers.

According to Forbes, IShowSpeed earned an estimated $30 million in 2026, fueled in part by partnerships with brands including Dick’s Sporting Goods, Beats by Dre, and Doritos.

“Four years ago, I was in my mom’s house, screaming, barking, ‘Siuuu!’ Cristiano Ronaldo! Siuuu!’ … A kid from Ohio … just doing anything, and I just performed at the World Cup final,” he said in a recent YouTube video. “You can do whatever you want… Just believe.”

The warehouse purchase follows a growing trend among high-profile creators who are investing heavily in dedicated production facilities.

MrBeast, the world’s highest-paid content creator, built a sprawling production campus in North Carolina after purchasing a warehouse valued at roughly $14 million, allowing him to film increasingly elaborate videos under one roof.

IShowSpeed has not revealed exactly how his new Miami warehouse will be used.
