Look Inside Rihanna’s New $21 Million Four-Bedroom Penthouse Apartment. Big Enough to Accommodate Her Growing Family

Rihanna’s moving on up. With a toddler and another baby on the way, the songstress and entrepreneur recently purchased a $21 million penthouse condominium in The Century, a Los Angeles building known for housing the rich and famous.

Rihanna is currently in a long-term relationship with hip-hop artist A$AP Rocky and has lived in The Century for nine years. But as the couple’s family grows, the three-bedroom, 3,500 square-foot home she’s called home now feels a bit cramped.

Her new 9,000-square-foot condominium takes up the building’s 40th floor and is fit for a billionaire. The Barbadian-born singer, actress and beauty mogul got her start in the music industry with her debut album, “Music of the Sun.” Since then, she has released seven more albums, and reportedly is the wealthiest woman musician in the world. In addition, she is a partner in Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty. Rihanna’s net worth is estimated to be $1.7 billion.

A Look At The Century’s 40th-Floor Residence

The Century was designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects and completed in 2010. Another notable resident of The Century is actor Denzel Washington.

The residence was renovated by a previous owner. Working with architect Scott Joyce and interior designer LM Pagano, the residence was updated extensively.

Visitors to Rihanna’s penthouse use a private elevator that opens to the entryway. The living room features a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows that provide a view of the Los Angeles skyline.

Throughout the apartment are dark brown hardwood floors. In the all-white kitchen and dining room, the floors complement the marble countertops, two islands and luxe appliances.

There are four bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms within the residence, but the en suite is the most impressive resting place. It features a curved bedroom, two closets, two bathrooms and a private lounge. In addition, there are four separate outdoor terraces facing different directions of the Los Angeles skyline. The panoramic views include the Pacific Ocean, Downtown skyscrapers, the San Gabriel mountains, Catalina Island and Mount Baldy.

There’s also a soundproof movie theater complete with velour couches but the building’s amenities are nothing to snuff at either. There’s an underground garage with four parking spaces, storage facilities, an around-the-clock concierge and security.  In addition, there’s also an outdoor swimming pool, garden areas, an in-house restaurant and conference rooms.

Other Properties

If Rihanna or her growing family ever needs extra room, she’s got other options. She also owns two side-by-side estates located in the mountains right above Beverly Hills. Both residences are comfortable assets that Rihanna leases out.

Penthouse living isn’t great for small children. They need outdoor living spaces to develop their freedoms of movement and get oxygen to Thier little brains not be exposed to air conditioning ducts full of air contaminants floating throughout the apartment home. They need to be able to be exposed to natural vitamin D which comes from direct sunlight àlso.I’m an adult and this is a vitamin I’m always lacking because I barely leave my home other than to run errands or handle my business affairs.Children aren’t old white Hollywood stars who hide away from the public cooped up in a stuffy old penthouse where the windows don’t open to be able to breathe fresh air!! My opinions and I stand on them as a woman who was in early childhood development raising other people’s young kids.
