Russell Wilson and Wife Ciara Set to Rake In $31 Million from Sale of Washington Estate

NFL quarterback Russell Wilson dedicated nine years to the Seattle Seahawks in Washington State, from 2012 to 2021. He gave his all for the team before joining the Denver Broncos in 2022 and later moving to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Despite their relocations, he and his wife, a Grammy Award-winning singer, struggled when it came down to selling their waterfront Bellevue estate in Washington.

Sold!

Now, it appears that the couple has finally sold the 11,000-square-foot property to an undisclosed buyer for $21.25 million.

The final selling price is lower than the initial $28 million asking price and 15% less than the compromised price of $24.9 million that they agreed upon when it was selling in 2022. Still, the couple remains thrilled.

They managed to sell a smaller annex property, adjacent to the main mansion, for $9.75 million in 2022. This brought their total earnings from their selling their residential Washington properties in their real estate portfolio to $31 million. This marked a significant profit, especially since Wilson purchased the home for $6.7 million in 2015, shortly after marrying the “Goodies” singer.

Located on a bluff, the lavish estate offers sweeping 180-degree view of tranquil Lake Washington and the 164 feet waterfront, allowing all visitors to see the water from nearly every angle. Its neoclassical interior boasts simple decor, showcasing columns, arches, crown molding, and scrolled edges, according to Architectural Digest.

The mansion features a grand spiral staircase in the double-height foyer, adorned with intricately carved wrought iron. Its chef’s kitchen boasted a 14-foot island, an eight-burner range, and counter seating. The primary bedroom offered a sitting area, a luxurious bathroom with a deep soaking tub, and expansive walk-in closets.

The residence is further equipped with amenities including a gym, theater, yoga and dance studio, and a two-story treehouse which were for the couple’s four children. Accessible via a long staircase or tram, the base of the bluff reveals 270 feet of flat land merging with the water, featuring two private beaches. Additionally, a three-slip dock accommodates two jet-skis and a 60-foot yacht.

There are three patios and parking that held up to 12 cars.

Earlier this year, the couple sold their castle-like residence near Denver for $21.5 million, experiencing a slight loss upon its March sale. The Super Bowl champ had purchased the Cherry Hills Village property for $25 million in 2022 after joining the Denver Broncos, according to Realtor.com.

Now that the celebrity couple has unloaded the Washington and Colorado estates, many are wondering if they are looking to set roots down in Pennsylvania.

While they are working to acclimate their children into the local scene, including allowing the oldest son, Future, to play on the Pirates’ youth league, they have not committed to buying a property and making Pittsburgh their permanent home, since he only signed a one-year contract.
